about

All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person's (or thing's) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time's relentless melt.  - Susan Sontag, On Photography, 1971

I try to show the ephemeral aspects of our world. Photographs have a special way of communicating the fleeting nature of beauty, time and reality.

With photography, there is an inherent will to believe in the ‘truth’ of the photograph, making it a perfect medium for magical realism.
